aix participated in the Korea-Japan Start-up Exchange Meeting organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
It was a valuable time to exchange information with representatives of outstanding Korean startups participating in the Innovation Leaders Summit (ILS) 2023 and discuss their great businesses and the Japanese market.
We gave a speech at the event about the Japanese startup ecosystem and the growth strategy of aix, a company founded in Japan.
Through our participation, we will further contribute to the development of the startup and Korea-Japan business ecosystem and aim to grow as an exemplary company in this field.
JETRO aims to contribute to the further development of Japan's economy and society through the promotion of trade and investment and research on developing countries.
They are fully utilizing their domestic and international network of more than 70 overseas offices and about 50 domestic offices, including the Tokyo Head Office, Osaka Head Office, the Institute of Developing Economies, and domestic offices, to promote investment in Japan, export agricultural, forestry, and fishery products and foods, and support the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a flexible and efficient manner.
In addition, they contribute to Japan's corporate activities and trade policy through surveys and research.
Launched in 2014 under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, it is Asia's largest open innovation matching event with the aim of creating innovative new businesses by matching major companies and startups.
In the main new business matching program, "Power Matching," 625 promising startups recommended by 102 organizations, including major domestic and foreign VCs and government agencies, and 105 major companies participated, resulting in 2,890 business matching talks over the four days, with 969 major companies responding that they would like to re-confer for business collaboration. The highly accurate matching program, which leads to a collaboration in one out of every three cases, enables companies to promote their own open innovation at once.*Previous Results
